Introduction

WD Pumpco designs and builds heavy-duty equipment for oil field operations. KWS has a very large presence in the oil field with over 1,000 installations for conveying frac sand, chemicals, and other related bulk materials.

Challenge

WD Pumpco required special screws that matched their existing equipment and operating requirements. Each screw was unique in design with bare pipe and special bores. The application required both left-hand and right-hand construction. Standard CEMA stock screws would not meet the dimensional and construction requirements, so a Made-to-Order solution was required to ensure proper fit and reliable operation.
