Bucket Elevator Chain & Sprockets

One common method of elevating elevator buckets is attaching them to a chain. Chain is constructed in a variety of methods and materials selected to meet the specification application. Chain-type bucket elevators utilize sprockets to drive and stabilize the chain. Chain and sprockets are common in the milling industry and in other heavy-duty industrial applications.

KWS Manufacturing’s chain-type bucket elevators include a heavy-duty, steel bushed chain. These chains are designed to provide superior performance in the most severe working conditions. High strength, hardened pins, bushings and sidebars offer excellent wear resistance, great fatigue resistance and reduce chain elongation.

KWS Manufacturing’s chain-type bucket elevators include heavy-duty engineering class sprockets. Our standard sprockets utilize Type C single, non-split hubs keyed with set screws to match the head and tail shafts diameter. Sprockets are provided with solid rim with the option for segmental rim sprockets also available.

KWS bucket elevator sprockets have flame or induction hardened teeth for increased wear resistance to withstand the harshest conditions.
