KWS Manufacturing was founded in 1972 and with over 50 years in operation, the singular emphasis continues to be Bulk Material Handling equipment; screw conveyors, bucket elevators, and drag conveyors. The plant and main office sit on twenty acres of land with ample room for future expansion.
Ninety percent of KWS business is built to customer specifications to satisfy demanding applications. A customer guided team of engineers and sales professionals utilizes industry knowledge and elite workmanship to develop solutions for the toughest bulk material handling requirements.
Raw materials are purchased, Quality Control ensures the product meets detailed specifications, and fabrication begins. Production is driven by a quality program specifying a set of processes and procedures certified by the International Standards Organization, commonly known as ISO-9001. Automated fabricating machines, robotic welding, CNC presses, and programable machine tools, lead the way as KWS delivers improved efficiencies in manufacturing.
KWS produces standard CEMA sizes of helicoid and sectional screws varying from 4 inches up to twelve feet in diameter. Coded thermal processing screws are manufactured and certified by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). Industrial duty bucket elevators and drag conveyors are built to exacting customer specifications. Bins, hoppers, silos, and other auxiliary equipment, such as slide gates, are included in the KWS offering.
