KWS is Acquired by Kadant, Inc.

On January 24, KWS was acquired by Kadant Inc. (NYSE: KAI), a global supplier of high-value, critical components, equipment, and engineered systems used in process industries worldwide.

After 50 years of building a world-class reputation for quality screw conveyors, screw feeders, slide gates, bucket elevators, and related equipment, we are excited about this new chapter in our company’s history and the prospects it holds for us and for you.

Although our ownership has changed, our name, products, and people remain the same. Our contact information is also unchanged; we will maintain same telephone numbers, email addresses, and sales representatives that are always ready to serve you.

Kadant has a long history for growing great companies like KWS. A decentralized operating model is core to the success of Kadant. KWS has always been nimble and quick, and we will remain that way–making decisions locally through close customer contact. KWS will continue to operate as successfully as we did with our prior ownership but with the strength of Kadant behind us.

Many people have asked about my plans with KWS. I will remain President of KWS for at least the next five years. We will always focus on exceeding the needs of our customers by providing the finest quality, service, delivery, and pricing. We are the leaders in our market and will only get better.
