Jacob Rider, PE of KWS Receives Professional Engineering License

KWS Manufacturing is pleased to announce that Jacob Rider has received his Professional Engineer License (PE) in the state of Texas. Jacob’s accomplishment is the culmination of his hard work beginning in college and extending through his career. In order to receive a professional license in engineering one must complete a four-year degree in engineering from an accredited university, pass an 8-hour engineering exam, and work for at least four years as an engineer prior to passing another 8-hour engineering exam.

Jacob has been with KWS since 2014 serving as a Project Manager, exclusively for the environmental division. Prior to joining KWS, Jacob was an Engineer for Bluff Manufacturing in Fort Worth, TX and WEB Technology in Dallas, TX. Jacob received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2009.
